Last week our 3 employees Mrs Maalaoui, Mrs Meyer and Mr Oel were in Aachen and took part in the 1st Aconity3D User Conference.
More than 70 participants from 14 countries were present, almost all of whom work and research with and on Aconity systems. In addition to exciting presentations from science and industry, the programme offered fascinating workshops at the new Aconity site as well as guided tours of the Fraunhofer ILT and the Digital Additive Production DAP at RWTH Aachen University. The exchange on the topic of PBF-LB took centre stage.
During the workshops, we deepened our experience in the areas of component preparation, scanning strategies with multiple lasers, identification of process parameters and analysis of the recorded process data.
