The autumn conference has a special significance for the Scientific Society for Product Development (WiGeP)! Not only colleagues come together here, but also friends. Roland Lachmayer's invitation was accepted by 40 professors at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
After a welcoming address by LUH President Prof Dr Volker Epping, the members' meeting decided on and celebrated the inductions of Oliver Koch, Matthias Kreimeyer and Stephan Husung. The lifetime achievements of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Abramovici and Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. Albert Albers were then honoured with the WiGeP Medal of Honour. Many thanks to the laudators Frank-Lothar Krause and Bernd Höhn for their appreciative words and friendly anecdotes.
The exciting insights into the newly constructed SCALE research building at Leibniz Universität Hannover were a highlight.
