At the recent General Meeting of the Design Society, held during the ICED Conference in Dallas, USA, the results of the earlier election of new board members were confirmed:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Lachmayer was elected by the members of the Design Society to the Advisory Board.
Since its founding in 2000, the Design Society has been an international network of researchers promoting exchange across all disciplines of product design and development. Its goal is to deepen the understanding of all aspects of development and to responsibly apply this knowledge for the benefit of people and the environment.
The Advisory Board advises, guides, and supports the Design Society’s Board of Management in developing and promoting the society’s goals. It provides counsel on the orientation and strategy of the society and offers feedback on specific development proposals.
We are pleased that Roland Lachmayer can contribute his expertise in product development to the international Design Society and help shape its future direction.
