Join us on November 8, 2025!

The Campus Maschinenbau in Garbsen invites you to explore! At more than 20 interactive stations, institutes open their labs and workshops to showcase cutting-edge research – from robotics and 3D printing to energy technologies.

For the first time, the brand-new SCALE research building will also be part of the event, offering a glimpse into the future of engineering.

Experience fascinating experiments, hands-on activities for all ages, and insights into engineering studies. Dive into extreme material tests at the Underwater Laboratory, watch robots play soccer, explore open wind tunnel experiments, and see how massive machines shape metal. Feeling creative? Try chocolate casting, bridge building, or even constructing mini robots and helicopters!

Other highlights include energy conversion, machine learning, and hydrogen and fuel cell propulsion systems. The HorsePower Racing Team, powered by students, will present its latest electric race car.

The event is suitable for children aged 6 and above and accessible for visitors with limited mobility.

A free shuttle bus provided by regiobus GmbH will run from Schönebecker Allee to the Campus Maschinenbau.
