Our former research assistant Osman Altun successfully completed his doctorate at the IPeG with the top grade of "very good with distinction".
We congratulate Osman on this great degree!
His dissertation on "Generative parametric development of technical systems" represents a major advance in the development of technical systems with regard to mass custimisation. With the help of the development environment created in the course of the work, a large number of suitable product variants for the respective requirements can be generated within a short time as part of an optimisation process, taking into account a large number of possible component combinations.
We are very pleased with Mr Altun's outstanding and long-standing work and wish him all the best for his future career and the continuation of his scientific career in the Data Management in Mechanical Engineering group under the direction of Prof. Dr Iryna Mozgova.
