The important international conference in the field of product development Design 2024 took place in Dubrovnik again this year.
The IPeG was represented by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Lachmayer and Sören Meyer zu Westerhausen. The latter was able to convince the reviewers with his paper and received the Reviewers' Favourite Award for his paper entitled "Design Methodology for optimal sensor placement for cure monitoring and load detection of sensor-integrated, gentelligent composite parts".
In addition, Sören Meyer zu Westerhausen presented the paper "Automatic movement pattern analyses for data-driven system optimization - an example for fattening livestock farming monitoring system" by his colleague Guruban Raveendran.
Prof. Lachmayer chaired the session "Enhancing Additive Manufacturing with Knowledge-Based Design Tools".
